We’ve owned this bike for about a month, and we’re very happy with it so far. It was shipped through FedEx, and an adult signature was required upon delivery.
Assembly was mostly straightforward, but one of the pedals was defective and couldn’t be attached. I contacted customer service, and they promptly sent us a replacement crank arm and pedal, which resolved the issue. I was impressed with how quickly they handled it.
The seat is surprisingly comfortable and doesn’t become uncomfortable on longer rides. The bike is also quite fast. You can set a speed limit if you don’t want it to reach its maximum speed of about 25 mph.
Even when using pedal assist, the bike accelerates quickly. After just a couple of pedal strokes, it reaches around 10–12 mph, so it doesn’t feel like a traditional bicycle that slowly builds speed. Because of that, I think it’s better suited for older teenagers or adults.
For reference, I’m 5’5” and weigh about 140 pounds. I can comfortably sit on the seat with both feet touching the ground, and I find the bike easy to handle.
We usually charge the battery overnight, and it lasts about two days for us. We mainly ride around our neighborhood, so your battery life may vary depending on how far you ride and the level of pedal assist you use.
We’ve only had the bike for a month, so I can’t comment on its long-term durability yet, but based on our experience so far, we’re very pleased with the purchase.
