    Difficult to install

    Nightmare to install. The video on the website makes it look easy. If you run tubeless, clean out all the sealant before you start, because it’s not as easy as the video. I broke 2 sets of plastic tire spoons. I can change a tire in minutes tube or tubeless. This is not for rookie mechanics IMO. Can’t wait to ride them, need new spoons.

    The CushCore E‑MTB Set has been a game‑changer for my e‑mountain bike. Installation takes a bit of patience, but once it’s in, the difference is immediately noticeable. The added stability, control, and damping make the bike feel planted even on rough, rocky trails.
    Cornering feels smoother, tire roll is reduced, and I can confidently run lower pressures without worrying about rim strikes. The added protection really pays off—no more pinch flats so far. It also improves overall comfort, especially on long rides.
    If you ride aggressively or just want better handling and rim protection, this is absolutely worth the investment. A premium upgrade that actually lives up to the hype.

    These inserts are very heavy duty. The installation was a lot easier than some of the reviews made them out to me. Take your time and follow the directions in the videos and you shouldn’t have any problems.

    It would be great if the contents were the same as the box

    I’m excited about the potential here….and open to re-scoring when I get the appropriate item.

    The boxes were as ordered: a combo 28/27.5” set. The contents were 2×29” inserts.

    To be fair, the manufacturers shipped a replacement but I didn’t spot this mistake right away and the shipping time of the replacement means that it has been some time before installation can be finished.

    Online videos about fitting are helpful and I’ll add a couple of my own tips at some point.

    As well as coming back to review how the inserts have been in practice…..

    One thing was that after a couple of weeks of research I found a bit of advice suggestion you try these with a lighter tyre than you are used to….of course I bought a heavier model, haha! But – this was to offset some particularly gnarly rocky riding so I’m still hopeful to be installing a bomber setup: Double assegai DD and cushcore eMTB (to help with fast passage down rocky terrain)

    The products second paragraph stated: A FULL SET: With two CushCore tire inserts, two 44mm CushCore presta air valves, a valve core tool, installation instructions, and rim stickers you have everything you need to upgrade your ride!
    I was hoping for two inserts. (even one of the pictures showed two inserts) i was very disappointed when only one insert arrived. I believe the advertising is misleading. However the product itself is very good.
