My niece just turned 1and so I thought this electric bike would be perfect for her as her little legs would be able to reach the go pedal. It is literally the perfect size for a 1/2-year-old, but there were some things that I found frustrating.
Screwing in the hardware was a bit difficult, but manageable with the right tools. More frustrating than anything else was the directions-they were HORRIBLE. So bad I almost put it back in the box and sent it back… it got to that point. My suggestion is not to even open the direction booklet and go to You Tube. There are videos that are MUCH easier to follow and make way more sense.
As far as the quality- you get what you pay for, I guess. I didn't think it was the best quality, and I even think for the price it could've been better but not the worst that I've come across.
The bubble function is adorable, but if you want the bubbles be prepared for this obnoxious music that plays while the bubbles are bubbling…. you cannot turn off the music and just have bubbles. It does both and that's it.
The remote only has forward and reverse feature. You cannot turn it right or left the child has to do that. My experience is most 1-year olds can figure out the go button with their little feet before learning how to turn the bike right and left so really the remote control is pointless in my opinion.
Overall, my niece has a ride on toy that she can jump on and keep up with her big sis (4) when she's on her ride on toys. It's cute, my niece has a smile on her face so that in itself makes it worth it. It might last a few months or so and for the price if that is the case then it did its job.
