This is a sturdy little mirror, and is perfect for my situation where I part in close quarters. It folds away easily, I can adjust it on the fly, and it is generally holding up well. Setup was easy, the hardware is quality, and the mirror is easy to clean.

Great for the price, but could be better
For the price, this is really a very nice mirror. From a design perspective, it really could fit almost any application.My only real complaint is the mirror housing, pivotal, and clamping system that it sits into.It’s all plastic, and kind of flimsy plastic.For a couple bucks more they could have gone with a good rigid ABS or even a cheap alloy.The end result is even when torqued down, a simple bump on the mirror tweaks it.So every time you get on you need to readjust the mirror.At least that’s been my experience.So I’ve gotten in the habit of carrying the adjustment wrench with me.Which I’d rather not do, but it’s such a small piece that maybe it’s not such a big deal.You decide.Otherwise, the optics are incredibly clear, the mirror is more than large enough to give you just the right field of view, and it is stable.Is it perfect? No. Will I be replacing it? No.

Fits securely in the handle bar. Stays adjusted when correctly aligned. Convex mirror provides a complete view of the road behind. It’s a valuable safety device especially for city riding.

Lower your expectations
It is very, very flimsy and cheaply made. Don’t expect it to survive a minor fall.. The mirror isn’t even glass, and has a lot of optical distortion. With that being said, it is a mirror and it does work well enough.

I have had other bar-end mirrors for bicycles, and unfortunately, this design is doesnât work well on drop-bar handle bars (road bike). It has three problems, all of which render the mirror useless on rough roads (either with rough, textured pavement or seems, bumps, potholes, etc.). First: its geometry amplifies vibrations. The mirror is position at the end of a knuckle/ball joint, which means every vibration in the handlebar gets increased by the distance the mirror is from the center of the handle bar. Second: itâs convex, which makes objects smaller (since it give you a wider view), and with smaller objects + vibrations, itâs difficult (impossible on rough roads) to see anything in it. Finally, the ball joint can be tightened with a hex key (included), but even after tightening the hex bolt, rough roads and bumps can vibrate the mirror out of position (and yes, I tightened the joint as much as I believe possible on a plastic part). I also own a Third Eye Bar End Bicycle Mirror, which I can highly recommend. Itâs worth the $15 vs. $5 for this mirror, which simply doesnât work well across the many road conditions you expience.

I have had several of these..its inexpensive and works very well..the inexpensive part..the reason I have had several is i use these on an e mtn bike and I have sideswiped a tree or 2 and snap the mount..my bike fell over in strong wind once and the mirror saved the grip on the right side so I was ok with replacing that broken one as well..I looked at the metal one and decided this is better for me because the metal one would have been damaged when the bike fell over anyway and I rather put a new one on than have one damaged and paint scratched etc..sideswiping a tree with the metal one may also cause a crash because no give with metal..so I will stay with this style and brand .btw you can order just one or a pair
